LA FIEL
NC_Luminary
La Fiel is a luminaire designed especially for people with insomnia, its light weight, its shape and the light it gives off, allow the user to use it comfortably without altering the dark environment of the night.

About
The luminaire that is exposed has been manufactured from a 3D model that has subsequently been made by a 3D machine through filament, said filament is made of PLA and rice, considered a biodegradable material, replacing the use of plastics with starch. The luminaire set has 6 pieces, including those made in the 3D machine as separate pieces of methacrylate, cut through the laser cutter. All this joined by adhesive except for the PLA handle that is embedded in the cylindrical trunk of the luminaire thanks to cylindrical pivots that allow the rotational movement of said handle. The luminaire includes an arduino board inside that gives the user the possibility to establish up to three light intensities, which can be controlled from the top of the lamp. the luminaire, in "piece 1" the cover that includes an on and off tab and a usb input to charge the luminaire, it is a mobile luminaire, it does not need to be connected to power to be used, it allows the user to move around with her.

Nocturnal
Comfort

When the luminaire is turned on, the light can be seen from the screen if it is left uncovered or if less luminosity is desired, from the methacrylate line that outlines the body.

Details
The handle was designed with a mechanism that allows it to rotate on the body of the luminaire, being able to act as a handle or even as a base or support, exposing the power button and the input to charge the luminaire.

Design
Having been designed to be
printed in 3D facilitates a
highly relevant aspect of the
project, the weight, the PLA
filament makes the luminaire
light.

Creation
The 3D modeling of the luminaire design was required to later be printed through the 3D printer.
